Captain Brian took his two sons and 10 year-old grandson to the sparkling grassy flats of Biscayne Bay on the Nice 'n Easy recently. 10 year-old Keanu had the first stroke of luck when he landed a keeper 16 1/2 inch speckled seatrout on a piece of shrimp. He hooked, fought and landed the beautiful fish, his first seatrout. Keanu's Dad landed another 16 inch keeper a little while later. Dad and son collected some keeper mangrove snappers and released a number of seatrout and snappers. They used fresh shrimp and slices of pinfish they caught. All in all an outstanding day with 3 generations of fisherman enjoying the beautiful waters of Biscayne Bay!

Scott and Charlie have lived in Fort Lauderdale for over 14 years. They live on a lake but have not been successful in catching many fish. Charlie was recently accepted into college in Sarasota, so Scott decided to give Charlie a going away present: a fishing trip with Captain Brian on the Nice 'N Easy.

Mangos as we old time fishermen like to call the feisty mangrove snappers. They can be caught year round. They are one of the most delicious tasting fish and easily caught.

They can be found in the Mangroves, on the reef in shallow water. On the grassy flats of Biscayne Bay and Flamingo.

Frank and Frankie had fished the Florida Keys for tarpon. Before they left for Chicago we decided to go night fishing in Port Everglades. After losing a big snook to the docks, Frankie Jr. nailed this beautiful snook which he released unharmed. They both love to fish and cannot wait to come back to Florida.

Captain Dan and his father Pat Franco fished the Nice&Easy with Captain Brian from Lower Matecumbe in the Florida Keys all the way across Florida Bay. About a 28 mile journey. We started fishing near channel two bridge and after a slow bite we decided to cross the Bay. At the first set of markers we decided to try to hook a very large goliath grouper that Captain Dan spotted under the channel marker. I set up what I thought would be enough fire power. A TLD 25 with 60lb test line with a #10 bronze hook attached to a 100LB test flourocarbon leader.
