This is Keith Binder fishing the Florida Key in Lower Matecumbe with Capt. Brian. He hooked and fought this 35 lb plus Goliath Grouper to the Boat. We released him unharmed.
Grandpa Joe from New Jersey brought his seven year old grandson Robert to fish Flamingo. Robert is a true fisherman. He hooked and fought a one hundred plus pound lemon shark all by himself. He did not need help from Capt. Brian or Grandpa.
Here are some great pictures of dad taking the kids out fishing on Biscayne Bay.
You can often find Captain Brian at Bass Pro Shops, where he's a registered Bass Pro Shops representative. Every weekend Bass Pro Shops invites the kids to fish in a lake behind the store and the Islamorda Fish Factory restaurant. The store provides all the fishing tackle and bait, as well as hands-on training and guidance. Here are some pictures of Captain Brian and the kids having a ball catching all sorts of fish, including a whopper of a catfish (13 lbs) by a girl. Contact Captain Brian or Bass Pro Shops for more information on fishing schedules.

I took my son Glenn and grandson Keanu fishing during their recent visit back home. We found a canal right off the intracoastal and cast our lines baited with frozen shrimp. Keanu had a great time catching grunts and pufferfish, and nearly hooked a snook. He really improved his casting and hooked the fish and reeled them in all by himself. Under my strict supervision, of course, Keanu tried his hand at the wheel of the boat. We wrapped up our short trip by feeding dozens of supersized Jack Crevalle at a nearby waterfront restaurant.
Here are a few pictures of Grandpa Vince and his Daughter and Grandson fishing Biscayne Bay. They were visiting from upstate New York. Christopher is 5 years old and caught his first Barracuda and Speckled Seatrout. Christopher caught 20 Pinfish and two keeper Mangrove Snappers. This little fellow has an natural instinct to catch fish! Some of the Pinfish were the biggest ones I have seen. We could have fileted them for dinner. Mom takes Christopher fishing in their lake in New York often. Lucky boy. Wouldn`t you just love having parents that take you fishing? Well, we all had a great time with Christopher.
Sure everyone wants to catch fish when they go fishing. But sometimes you just can't help but take a few minutes to appreciate the wonders of Mother Nature - gorgeous sunsets that light up the sky with a rainbow of colors, intricate cotton-candy cloud patterns, turqoise-colored waters of the Gulf of Mexico - this is what makes it all worth it...
Carlos Sr., Carlos Jr. and his son Javi invited my wife Jeri and I to fish for two days from their home in Lower Matecumbe in the Keys. Carlos Sr. wanted to learn good fishing spots in the Florida Bay. His canal opens into Florida Bay. We enjoyed their fabulous hospitality and fished two great days. We targeted mangrove snappers and Spanish mackerel. Carlos Jr. and his Son Javi fished Flamingo with me a month or so before. Javi and his dad caught Trout, Redfish, and a bunch more fish.
Captain Brian is a Local Bass Pro Shop Pro Staffer. He is a tackle tester for Rods, Reels, and other new Bass Pro Shops Brand products. Appearing at the Miami store for many months, he joined the staff at the Dania/Ft.Lauderdale Store.
The Boat show and the Spring Fishing Classic that just ended on March 15th have given Captain Brian a chance to show his experience fishing.

I have been coming to Bass Pro since the day you guys opened, and have spent more money and time there than I should have in years past. My latest trip to bass pro was by far the absolute best. I was just coming to pick up a prop lock and trolling motor bracket. As I was heading to the aquarium as I always do when I come there, I saw a small fishing seminar going on. It was Captain Brian from Nice and Easy Fishing Charters. I have been to a few seminars in my time, some that were a bit costly, and what Captain Brian had to share was far beyond what I have ever experienced. His knowledge of the area and his ability to share his wealth of knowledge is second to none. I gained more useful fishing knowledge from him in a half hour than I have in many all day events. I just wanted to share my positive experience, and commend you for having him as a part of the Bass Pro Staffer team. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Jamie Plumadore
