Captain Brian is a local Bass Pro Shop Pro Staffer. He is a tackle tester for rods, reels, and other new Bass Pro Shops brand products. Appearing at the Miami store for many months, he joined the staff at the Dania/Ft.Lauderdale store.

Captain Brian demonstrated some of his best fishing tips at the boat show and the Spring Fishing Classic that just ended on March 15th . For three weekdays and weekends, Captain Brian gave seminars to Bass Pro customers. Some of the topics included inshore fishing techniques, Flamingo Bay fishing, kids fishing classes, and new 2009 Bass Pro fishing products, among other subjects. He met hundreds of fishermen both new and experienced. Captain Brian loved sharing his tales of fishing in South Florida.

Captain Brian is a Coast Guard-licensed, award-winning expert guide who has been fishing in Florida's Everglades and the Keys for over 40 years.

Capt. Brian loves to fish. He spent the early years bass fishing in the Everglades, catching and releasing thousands of largemouth bass. He then moved into tarpon and bonefishing in the Florida Keys with his young children.

Captain Brian later fell in love with deep-sea fishing, and became an expert in hunting dolphin (mahi mahi), blackfin tuna, wahoo, and billfish. Each trip started out with a trip to catch bait, equipping him with an unparalleled understanding of what fish like to eat. The changing barometer, the full moon, the incoming and outgoing tides, the direction of the wind - Captain Brian takes all of these factors into account when gauging whether the fish will be ready to eat or not.

Captain Brian is also an avid freshwater fisherman, and has caught - and released - hundreds of largemouth and smallmouth bass, carp, catfish and bluegills over the years.

Over the years, Captain Brian has trained hundreds of clients, friends and family members to fish. Captain Brian welcomes fishermen - and women - of all ages and skill levels. Captain Brian's charters are also kids-friendly (having trained his two sons and daughter, he's now working on developing his two grandsons and grand-daughter into world-class fishermen!)

Novice fishermen will love learning with Captain Brian. Catching bait, learning to use the fishing tackle, the smell of the sea and the salty air. Spending a day on the water is a nice and easy way to unwind.
